Paper Selection Process
Papers for oral and poster presentation are selected by the SpaceWire 2016 Technical Committee. Each paper is reviewed by three reviewers drawn randomly from the Technical Committee. The papers are scored in four different areas (relevance to aims of the conference, originality, innovativeness, and impact). The scores are summed for each area and for each reviewer to give a total score for the paper. Papers are then ranked according to their score, with a cut-off for oral presentation and for poster presentation, according to the number of presentations and posters that can be accommodated. The Conference Committee have the right to promote no more than four papers from poster to oral presentation to ensure a balanced agenda for the conference. Once the paper selection has been completed authors are informed and the conference programme published on the conference website.
